👋 Hi, I’m N. Emrah Aydinonat !
I’m a philosopher of economics at the University of Helsinki and one of the Chief Editors of the Journal of Economic Methodology. I’m passionate about exploring how economic thinking shapes our world, with a particular focus on models, institutions, and their real-world impact.
I lead the ReSES project and currently serve as the sole organiser of ReSES events.
The ReSES project began with a fantastic team and support from the Finnish Cultural Foundation (2023 & 2024). Thanks to the contributions of all its members, ReSES quickly gained recognition as a well-known project, with its events enjoying consistent popularity ever since. I must especially highlight two individuals whose work has been crucial to the project’s success: Anita Välikangas (project coordinator, 2023) and Jessica North (communications & visual design, 2023). Their dedication, hard work as well as intellectual input have been key to making ReSES what it is today.
